Sunshine and Clouds

The sun is shining and the clouds are out. Don't worry, they are the big fluffy ones. They kind of look like big cotton balls floating through the air. A gentle breeze is blowing off the Sound through the windows and the smell of fresh cut grass is drifting in. Our maintenance guys are amazing at keeping this place looking beautiful. The fountain is a gentle shushing sound as it glides over the little water fall. It's so peaceful here. Our mirrors are glittering in the sunlight and the cat is basking in the warmth. I love to keep flowers on the tables in the living room, and dining room. They have a soft scent that seems to surround you and lull you to a peaceful place of contentedness. Our little Sound Castle is certainly what we call home.
One of my favorite times of the day here is sunset. The colors of the sky range from blue to purple, to orange, red and pink. The crystal chandelier catches the colors and cast them across the walls in a dance of light. It's the time of day when time seems to stop, and the world holds its breath just to watch the beauty. It's the time of day the animals head to their homes, and the night begins to unfurl it's soft blanket to cover the world in quiet stillness. Pity the whole world can't seem to take pleasure in the simple things. Like a beautiful sunset, the glittering stars, and the breaking of dawn. The full moon is due to be out tomorrow night. Being a blue moon it should be amazing. Yes, there is only one moon this month but a true blue moon is actually the third moon in a season of four. No getting all bonkers on me.
Growing up I loved the full moon, glistening on the snow late at night. It would light up the night and make it appear almost like the midday sun. The stars were out and shone just like little pin pricks in the sky. I used to lay in my bed and watch the stars for hours. They were a comfort, and it helped me sleep in peace. How I wish the rest of the world could have seen what I saw.
So tonight, when you are just about to go to bed, look out at the sky and comment below on what you saw. perhaps in that way, we can share with the world what we see.
