Life Like Crazy Part 2

So here I am, bloggers. Yes, I'm alive, and no, I haven't forgotten all of you, just been one thing after the next. From start to finish, here is what has happened in the past 3ish months.
Gamer and I found out we are having a little girl. So, Space Monkey is what we call her as a nick name. We can't wait until she is born and we can actually meet our little one. She's kicking around like a healthy little one should. There is no sign of any problems, or defects, and it appears that there shouldn't be an cause for a miscarriage. I don't know if I would handle it if I lost little on. She's already become Gamer and I's whole world. She's already a daddy's girl. Calms right down when daddy talks to her or rubs his hand on my tummy. It's adorable. I know she's definitely going to be a sweetheart. How can she not when she has her daddy's genes?
Author moved out. We are sad to see her go, but we know this is where Abba has called her to be. I'm so proud of her for all the growing she has done, even in the last few months. She has grown into an amazing woman. I can't wait to see where Abba takes her next for I know that no matter where she goes, she will be the best she can be. So, cheers to growing in life, and to my beloved Author. We couldn't be more proud of you girly!! Go with our love, our hope, and our prayers.
Author wasn't the only one we had to say goodbye to. My cat Liddybell had the cat version of shingles. It was causing seizure like symptoms, and very painful for her. In the end we decided it was more humane to have her put down than let her continue in such pain.. I don't know what I'd do without Wizard's Liddy. I think I just might be very lost. She keeps me company when I'm home. Thankfully she is super healthy, and doing fabulously well. So, here's to all the loyal pets in our lives that we must say goodbye to
My work put on a Bible camp that had 900 children, and somewhere around 400 staff. It was wild guys. You would not believe it. With everything from breakfast in the morning (which I would help cooking), to the story time (I loved teaching the preschoolers), to the music, zip-lines, bounce houses, water slides, and that is only scratching the surface. At the end of the week, we served roughly 900 people a giant BBQ with hotdogs, burgers, and cardboard (I mean) Veggie burgers. (What's the point of a veggie burger...it has no meat...which is the opposite of a burger. You know, it's the thing that everyone douses in ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, and other delicious heart killing things. Yum!!) By the end of the week I was beyond beat. But he, you know, it's kicks and giggles right? That's why we willing submit ourselves to a week of intense torture. Why else would we do it?
After the torture we call Summer Hummer, I decided taking a week off was probably a good idea. Time to recoup and catch up on the rest both Space Monkey and I needed. Well, it didn't go quite like I had hoped. Author's sister in law who is a dear friend and family was put in the hospital for a few days with a 12 day migraine and dehydration. Being pregnant, that had us all worried. The good news is her and Peanut are doing much better! Thank you Abba! She was supposed to come over on Friday until I got a call at 9:30 in the morning. My aunt was calling to tell me that my parents were without power, water, and the house had burned down. You can imagine that was a bit of a shock. Within a couple hours I had my car loaded with food, water, basic supplies, and gas in the tank. I planned on driving over to the valley, but my aunt called me and said they were on their way over towards me. So, I met them at my Aunt's house which is (in good traffic) 2 hours away. It had taken 4 hours to get there. Oh joy. On the flip side of things, the traffic really turned out to be a good thing. I would have been most of the way over the pass if it hadn't been for that. For now, we wait to see what will come of things. I thanks Abba that my parents, brother and all their animals are safe. I'm so proud of the way they are handling things. Here's to all those who have lost your homes to fires, and to all the firefighters doing everything they can to contain these wild fires. Thank you!!!!!!!
So, I think that catches you up on everything so far. Your prayers for the fires, and for all those who lost their homes is always appreciated. And thanks for being there to read my posts. It really means a lot to me. So lastly, here's to all of you out there supporting and reading this blog! May you have a crazy life, and live it to the fullest everyday! Good bye!
