Girls Night Out

No not that kind of girls night out. The kind that Sam and I did tonight where we went grocery shopping and got dinner for the family. Pizza and salad from Costco (though the salad was more than a little wilted...oh well). I needed to go to the store and to Costco for a few things like formula for Clay and diapers for both the kids. While there we discovered a few other really good deals. Once we had finished the shopping at Costco, we ordered a whole pizza and salad to take home and a slice for her and I to share while we waited. Then it was off to Winco! Yes, we have discovered and love Winco. For those of you who don't know what Winco is, I like to explain it as a broken case Costco with no membership fees. Toss in Costco for all your other needs, and the Fred Meyer down the street for all the tiny extras and ta-da you have all the grocery options you could ever want. Though we have a really, really nice little grocery store for all the specialty items you need. Antipasto bar with high quality items? You got it at Yoke's. Need a case of something? Costco it is. Need almost a case for a cheap price on most things? Winco has you covered. Want to shop for everything from clothes to shoes, and still get your groceries and meds all in one place? Fred Meyer is your one stop shop. It all depends on what you need as to where you stop.
Once we got everything we needed at Winco it was homeward bound. We unloaded the car and chowed down on pizza. After Sam was all done, we put both kids to bed and now it's our relax time. Josh cleaned the kitchen and picked up the house today, so other than unloading the dishwasher and washing the bottles we can just sit back and relax for a little while.
What do you do on your girl's nights out? Or guy's nights out? Usually if my friends are getting together I make sure we've got good dinner and of course the "good stuff", Lizard brings the dessert (I really need a new name for her...), and the others bring a little of whatever. It will be interesting to see what our girl's night out looks like with White Knight in the picture. It might wind up just being more like couple's night together as we all seem to have a man in our lives. Might have to tone down the "girl talk". Which we all know revolves around our men anyways.
