But First...Pumpkin Spice!

AHHHHHHHH!!! It's that wonderful time of year again when pumpkin spice is back! I love, love, love my pumpkin spice yumminess! How did this come about you ask? I finally hit the grocery store for the first time in...a month...month and a half? I lost track. Suffice to say a long time. But that's ok, because it was all made better by finding the pumpkin spice creamer for my coffee!!! Yay!!!! I love pumpkin spice!!!! So much so that a friend of mine bought me a shirt that even says "But first pumpkin spice". I wore it to my parents house. My dad read it and became very confused. Apparently he missed the memo on pumpkin spice lattes being one of my favorite things about fall. My mom on the other hand walked in, read it, and chuckled. She got it. My dad, still confused, asked mom what it meant. She made me laugh with her reply of "it means first she's got to have her pumpkin spice latte, duh." Still profoundly confused my dad shrugged it off. It still made me chuckle. Dad doesn't understand my need for good food and even better coffee. When I first got my Keurig, He had no idea what he was looking at. But after the first use, he promptly enjoyed several cups of coffee. Not that I blame him. He hasn't figured out the espresso machine yet, but he's got the Keurig, French press, and basic makers all down pat. He gets spoiled when he comes to my house because good coffee is always a thing here. Otherwise he thinks Yuban is the very height of good coffee...poor wretch. I've tried to change his way but hey, he likes what he likes. Though I think it has to do with the fact that is 4 bucks for a big container. Yikes! Mom at least understands what good coffee is and thoroughly enjoys our albeit rare, but delightful coffee dates. If I ever get around to owning a coffee shop or restaurant I'll be sure to have the best coffee in town.
On that note, I'm going back to my coffee. Yes, it's 10:15 pm. What of it? Pretty sure coffee is everyone in the Pacific Northwest's blood type. You weirdos out there only drinking it in the morning or once in the afternoon...how do you live like that? Ugh. Coffee in the morning, coffee in the evening, coffee at supper time! That's what I sing. Night!
