Five Hundred!!!

We made it to 500 page views bloggers!!!! That's so amazing! With over 30 page views each time I post we are growing bigger and bigger every day. When I started this blog, I was just putting my crazy thoughts down for fun, never realizing, or even imagining people might actually enjoy reading about this odd little place we all the Sound Castle. It will never cease to surprise me that all you out there really want to read this. I am humbled and awed. My crazy thoughts of my crazy house in my crazy little world. I'm sure many of you can relate to living a crazy life, but I wouldn't trade it, or this for the world. Seriously, 500 page views...wow. Thank you. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you all read this. So, on that note, here's my crazy thoughts for the day.
I spent the day sketching an odd little piece that looks a little like the Sound Castle, but has some interesting little bits in it. Like my personality, things aren't always as they appear. I started out with my little book nook and our cat Liddy in the window. She became the Cheshire cat, with the door mouse in the bookshelf, and Hatter's bar mirror on the wall above a tiny mantle on with the house fish sit. No, we don't actually have a fish as Liddy will kill anything smaller than her. (And sometimes anything larger too.) She's quite the little scrapper. She once took on 3 racoons and came out on top. But I digress. Back to the sketch. Rabbit's ears poke above my chair in the nook, and soon, an odd little creature (still unknown as to what it will be) will be curled up on my chair with Mad Hatter's tea pot on the table next to it. Perhaps I will even add in our imaginary dog, River, onto the rug in the middle of the floor. Hmm, maybe once I put the chair on the ceiling I will put him up there. From this, you will hopefully see that I'm not always as sane as I may appear. And this is why I blog my random little thoughts. At first glance everything appears normal in the sketch until you look closer and notice all the little things I mentioned. How many of you are like that? Things that people may assume about you are not always as they appear.
I think we all wear a mask at some point, or perhaps more often than we would like to admit, in our lives. So, how can we take off those masks, and be real with the people we care about the most? Perhaps by posting a blog, or even just being honest with the people around us. Letting other people see the crazy insane part of each of us can be really scary, but...it can also be the most entertaining. When you let yourself show your slightly crazy side, the jumping up and down and singing as loudly and off key as possible to a random song on the radio type crazy, the people around just might let their crazy out too. Then, it's a whole party of crazy fun. So enjoy bloggers. Let your hair down, turn up the tunes, and sing at the top of your lungs. Or, if that's not your thing, draw up a sketch of your crazy. Do something fun.
Well, I'm off to finish my sketch then head to bed as I have a long day tomorrow. Good night world and all who are in it.
(P.S. Still happy dancing about 500 pages as I log off!)
