Good Morning in a New Year

I know I posted last night but little Space Monkey woke me up early, so I thought I'd post since I was up anyway. Good thing I don't drink much, granted I don't get hangovers. While most of you who read this might get them, I promise it will pass. But at any rate, this blog won't be quite so heavy. More reminiscent of the older posts of mine.
As usual, bloggers, you never ow where I am but I will say that today is going to be an interesting day because I'm road tripping! Mostly to see family but also to get a few laughs in and show off my daughter to the world. I can't believe she is already over a year old and some of my family has never met her. It's crazy! Ok mommy brag time. My baby girl is amazing. Not that all kids aren't but when the munchkin is yours there's just something about it that makes it seem so much more amazing. Maybe it's because when you look at them you see yourself and someone else. How incredible is that? So right now she is in her playpen chatting away looking at me like "Mom, I want to go play, but since you aren't letting me out right now I'm going to throw all my blankets on the floor." All while muttering some nonsensical syllables including the one known for dad. I have to say it's the cutest thing ever. I'm amazed at how strong she is.
Well the sun is out and I'm going to enjoy it no matter what the day may bring! Promise to post soon bloggers and do some more catching up soon. Here we go!
