Rainy Days

What do you think of on rainy days? Do you think of deary days, and a drizzle that just wont quit? Or are you more like me where rainy days are the only ones you can justify sitting and either reading a good book, or actually catching up on the shows you love but never have time to keep up on? That's me. I love a good book, but lately catching up on the shows I love has been a nice break from reality. One where my brain doesn't have to be engaged much. When I read a book, for me it usually better than tv because I get to create what the characters look like, sound like, and their little quirks come out in a way that I get to imagine. However my brain has been a little on overload so the not having to think about all of that and just focus on the plot that the shows have been giving me has been good. Don't worry I'm still reading. Just not as much as usual, which basically means one book a day instead of two or three. Like I said, still reading. Anyways, I believe I promised to catch you all up on the others of Sound Castle.
Wizard has a girlfriend!!!!! And I adore her! She is wonderful! Well shall call her...Pixie. Trust me, it fits. To describe Pixie, she's extremely smart, loves to pull pranks, witty, hilarious, and so random you would think she lived with us. And as an added bonus, she plays magic the gathering with the rest of us. And **** is she good! I love it! We whopped on the boys last time we played. they nearly cried. (Not really but close enough) We laughed. She, like me, is a Whovian. Down to matching Tardis backpacks. Makes me smile. Wizard is doing wonderful. He has a new little place that is adorable. He's taking the winter off to renovate the place. I don't think he's named it yet, but I'll ask when they come for my birthday in a couple weeks.
Author is doing well. She is working on a new book and refuses to tell me anything or even the title. I might be slightly miffed about that. (Insert growl and sniff) Though if I'm totally honest, it's just because I'm impatient to find out what it is. As if I don't have enough to read, but still! Besides that, she is due to start a new job at some point in the next month or so. Basically once the higher ups get all worked out. After that she's golden. I'm so proud of her. I'm supposed to go check out a guy my father in law has picked out but me being an over protective sis, he might pass. Maybe. Until then, no promises.
Gamer is still at his training, and doing very well with it. As he grew up around semi's which has allowed him a leg up. I know he will pass with flying colors. Other than that he's just studying endlessly. I'm proud of him.
Little Space Monkey is teething, and oh boy is she teething. When I brush the teeth she has and her gums, and tongue I can feel the new teeth wanting to emerge. I feel so bad because with all the other teeth there was no fever, and not much pain. This round she's got both in spades. Poor baby. No matter how quiet I am she still wakes up, even with the fan running. Though normally I have music going at night, and tonight I stuffed it in my headphones so I can watch one of my shows while I have a facebook conversation, and blog while answering emails and checking twitter for a twitch streamer....I might be multitasking just a little. Sadly at this point I think I'm going to have to let her cry while continuing to check on her and give her little pouches of food. (oops, almost typed punches...totally opposite of what I was trying to type. What can I say I've got stupid fingers tonight. I think I've rewritten half of this blog) She's finally falling asleep.Yay.
Me? Well I'm just trying to take things one day at a time. Being a mom can be exhausting but I wouldn't change it for the world. Between my silver, art, family, and friends I stay pretty busy. Today is a rainy day for me though. It's a down day to just rest. Which is good.
