3000!!!!!
We hit 3000 page views everyone! I'm so so so so so excited! Can you believe that it was only a few years ago when we started this journey? Sometimes I go back and reread some of the original posts. Not going to lie, I'm impressed with how far we've come. There's over 150 different posts over the course of the last 4 years. Granted 2015 didn't have a whole lot due to lack of internet and of course the 5 moves, but that's still crazy. So, what should we do to celebrate this time? We've popped can's of coca cola, did happy dances, got a run down of why I started the blog, and posted a nod to every country that has stopped by. This time? How about we do a happy dance, have a drink, remember all the good times, look forward to new ones, say hello to all those around the world reading up, and to top it all off, let's see how many hits, and comments we can get! I'd love to see where ya'll are coming in from. And then, let's see how many shares we can get! How cool would that be? See if we can get others hooked into our little craziness. Then we shall happy dance some more! I've popped a bottle of sparkling cider and and going to dance through the house despite all the boxes everywhere. Seriously, the house is insane right now with all the boxes for the move on Friday, but right now, I'm going to ignore every single one and just be super excited over the 3000 page views. Man oh man.
There are days I get discouraged to keep my blog going but then I look at the page views and remember why I keep at it. Even if there was only one person reading this blog I would keep going. But I can honestly say that we have a few more than that. You may have noticed I changed up the look of the site. I figured with hitting so many page views it might be time to give the ol' site a face lift. Hopefully you guys like it. If not, let me know and I'll send it back to classic view (if I can figure it out). I'm still learning my way around the new look myself. Every great once in a while it will send me a notification that there are updates I should do, and I generally ignore them, but this go round the updates looked kind of cool. And it looked like it might make it a little more user friendly. Let me know what you think when you comment on how you are celebrating. Also, what do you guys think about me trying to promote it a little? Get the word out there about this little blog and spreading the cheer? As of right now I don't get paid to do this, and I never do it to get paid. That's not what this blog is about. However, you may notice there's a little sidebar that has ads in it. This is another way to promote the blog, and one day when we hit several thousand views a day (so basically never lol) it might bring in a couple bucks here and there. Just means it's an extra toy for the kids from you guys. Otherwise, I always have, always will do this simply because I enjoy it. And that my bloggers is what makes this so much fun. There's no pressure, and no contracts. Just a normal crazy mom having a little fun and relieving a little stress and doing lots of happy dances for every page view and new visitor we get.
That being said, I'm going to go finish my bottle of cider. And go dance like no one is watching. NIGHT!
