The News

So you remember that news that I couldn't reveal a couple posts ago? Well, it's official! The Sound Castle is moving to a new location! Instead of us all being cramped into a two bedroom one bathroom apartment with Author on a mattress on the floor of the living room, and no place to put anything, we will hopefully be moving into a small townhouse with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and even a garage!!!! We are Psyched!!!!!!! An actual living room, and a real bathroom that only two people share instead all four of us!....canyoutellweareexcited? heehee.... We found this little place right smack dab in the middle of all of our works, and it's access to everything is the same as here. We really like the location, and from the pictures online, it looks adorable.
It's a three story townhouse, garage and washer/dryer in the basement, dining room, living room, kitchen, one bathroom, and a bedroom on the first floor, and the second bathroom, and two bedrooms upstairs. I can't wait to move!! Ok, ok, ok, yes we won't be moving for two months yet, but it's in the works. (If the spelling is off, it's because I don't have my glasses on to see the screen from across the living room floor.) We have started packing the stuff we don't need, like extra glasses, and mugs, and tools. Granted it's all easy to get to if for some reason we do need to get to it. I spent the day cleaning house and getting things a little less hectic around here. I have been slacking on it, but I'm trying.
In other good news, my boss has decided to train me to do her job. You remember what the holidays were like? She went down and I stepped in. Well, we figured if that were to happen again, I best know what I'm doing. :) So, director's training it is. I get to plan a 900 guest count event! I'm stressed, but also excited. I'm looking forward to the challenge, especially since I won't be on my own. I have been attending meetings, and doing lots of paperwork, and trying to keep up of the rest of my work in between. I have to say, I'm loving it.
I also decided to go back to being dairy free, so last night I made myself a dairy free shepherd's pie. My mom makes the best shepherd's pie, but this wasn't to bad if I say so myself. Mashed potatoes, with ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, green beans, and corn topped with goat cheese. Not to shabby. Tonight I have a roast in the crock pot for french dip sandwiches. Yum! Gamer, Author and I are all home right now, and Wizard is off at work. The house is quiet besides the clicking of my keyboard. I think I will put on a pot of hot water and have a cup of cider. Normally I would have coffee, but lately I just haven't been able to stand it. Weird right? Ehh, who knows?
What about you bloggers? What have you been up to?
Well, it's off with me. I have written your ears off enough for one night, but I will try to post tomorrow. I really am trying to get back into the swing of things, just been having a hard time doing it. So, here's to clean houses, good diets, and a good life! Cheers!
