Rub the Sleep From Your Eyes
That's me this morning. Blurry eyed stumbling down to the coffee maker to make that life giving force that brings humans from rubbing the sleep out of their eyes to at least functioning. Not that I'm at functioning point yet. Coffee is brewing. I have somehow managed to change Sam and get her started on breakfast while I attempt to rouse from my night of tossing and turning. Nope, not pregnancy. Our little boy was surprisingly quiet last night. I've been losing sleep due to stress, and a variety of unpleasant dreams. Not the night terrors or nightmares I deal with fairly regularly. Just rather unpleasant. But hey, it just means an extra cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Though my Doc would likely murder me for drinking to much coffee. To be fair, I generally only have one cup in the morning if that. I try not to drink to much when I'm pregnant. However, I've got to have some or someone in my little world might die. Like I've said before, I'm NOT a morning person. As a matter of fact I just bought Author a mug for her birthday that is perfect. Imagine if you will a solid black mug with three lines dividing it evenly. Top line at the top of the mug says SHHHHHH, the second in the middle says ALMOST, and the third bottom line says Now Talk. Yup, that's me in the morning. It's also her so it was kinda perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if Mama steals it. Which is why we might have to get her one for Christmas this year. A little something from the twins.
Aahhhh, coffee is finally done. I'm one of those annoying Pacific Northwesterners that knows good coffee, and can't stand brands like Folgers and Yuban. Yikes! Talk about re-run dirt. Yuck. Yeah, so I'm a snob with my coffee. There is probably a Starbucks on just about every corner here, but I'll take the tiny local roaster over it any day of the week. A favorite of mine is a tiny roaster back from where I grew up. Cowboy Mud Dark French Roast. Yeah, it doesn't get any better that that my friend. If you like good strong coffee that will perk you up just smelling it? Cowboy Mud will do it. D***ed if it isn't the best of the life giving force we dump in a cup and call coffee. It's not what I'm drinking today, but I do have some. I try to save it for those days that I know are going to be extremely long and arduous. The days I need a little taste of back home before attempting to be social with the outside world. Today is just Costco's San Francisco Bay Dark French Roast. Not the best in the world but affordable and strong enough to be battery acid if left to sit to long. Works for me. It should at least do the trick for today.

I likely won't post tomorrow as we are getting Gamer's cast off in the afternoon. His appointment is a couple hours away so we will likely just take the day to play.
