Weddings and Heat

Yesterday there was a wedding in my family that was about 3 or so hours away. Gamer and I made it to the wedding with Sam, but it was a scorcher out. Man, oh man, was it hot. Toss in getting dressed up and being pregnant plus it was an outside wedding, I wanted to die by the end of it. I somehow even managed to sunburn my right hand on the way down. Our car has no AC except 2-60 AC. That is to say 2 windows down at 60mph. So with one arm out the window, and my hand dangling in the burning sun, I burned my arm a little but my hand took the brunt of the heat. Which I discovered later when I was trying to balance a plate in one hand and eat with the other. I reached for the fork and suddenly realized that the back of my hand was bright red. Ooops. Oh well. A little lotion when we got home late that night did the trick. All in all it was a pretty wedding. Hot, but pretty. And hey, the cupcakes didn't melt, so bonus there.
Sam enjoyed getting to play with another set of cousins from my side of the family. Benny is 2 months younger than her, but the two were inseparable during the reception. They ate, and played, and fed each other like they had been besties for years. It was pretty adorable. By the time we finally crawled into the car, we drove for 10 minutes and she was out like a light. When we arrived home, Gamer picked her up and she went right back down in her crib without so much as a fuss. Didn't hear a peep out of her the whole entire night. I was impressed.
Today she's been a little grumpy but she didn't nap well yesterday and slept like a log last night. Her schedule is changing and I haven't quite figured out what she is trying to do. Part of it is due to the fact that our schedule has been under going major changes yet again. After this week things should begin to settle into a routine, and perhaps we can begin to readjust her to a good napping schedule and a decent sleep/eating routine. At least I know she is eating healthy and that she's growing like a little weed. Little Clay is as active as ever, and is in fact kicking my computer as I type this post. He's very particular about how I sit and what I put on my belly. I can barely set my kindle on my tummy without him getting annoyed and kicking it while I try to read. Makes for fun times.
Well my bloggers, I apologize if this post has major errors for the day. I seem to have developed stupid fingers and can't type well today. So I end this post with a simple See You Soon!
