Interviews, and Casts, and Banks OH MY!
Well, I had my interview today. And I think it went pretty well! It was certainly the most entertaining interview I've ever attended. The store manager was a sweet sweet gal with an amazing head on her shoulders. I loved how open and honest, and down to earth she was. Her assistant manager is a lady I worked with before and she was great. I always loved working with her, and to have the possibility of working with her again thrills me! She has a cat named Gibbs after the NCIS show, a love for which we share. Anyways, we shall see on Wednesday if things go well....I hope.
So then after the interview we had to make a mad dash to the clinic that x-rayed Gamer's wrist. Which of course was closing in 15 minutes by the time we got there. But we made it and got a copy of the x-ray for the doctor's appointment in another city we affectionately call pully-up. Don't ask. That appointment is for tomorrow morning at 11ish to get Gamer's cast on. Oh joy...poor guy.
Then it was onto the bank to get Gamer's bank card changed since the one he has no longer works...like at all. Yeah, so not good. At any rate we couldn't get it without waiting in a hot car for 20 minutes with Sam. Totally decided that we are just going to go tomorrow on our way home from the doc's. Once through a very boring and extremely quick run at costco to grab diapers for the munchkin, we were off and running towards home. Only to find we were almost out of gas, and needed to grab a cheap sherbet for the smoothies that we drank as our dinner. Yes, I totally made mango, orange, lime smoothies for dinner and nothing else for Gamer and I. What? It was good. And easy. Sam got pasta. So at least someone in the family was healthy as far as food went. Now I think I shall go back to power watching my way through my show again...down to a whole 2 seasons left to catch up on!
For now, I leave you with a final HAPPY DANCE. Didn't see that coming did you? BAhahahahahahaha. Good night, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite.
