Silver Lining
Ever heard that saying "In every cloud there's a silver lining"? Right now I'm looking for my silver lining in all the craziness. I haven't been sleeping much trying to deal with all the stress of everything. I do however have a part time job interview on Monday. I'm kind of excited for it actually. I think it would be good for me to get back to work, even if it's only a few hours a week. I'm one of those people that likes to work, and if I'm not then I tend to go a little stir crazy. If Gamer is at work, I have plenty to keep me busy and by the end of the day I'm bushed. But with him off and helping with Sam and household chores, I have less to do, and more time to chill. Which is a good thing I suppose, but it also leaves me with a sense of not doing as much as I feel I should be. So let's see, what could I do with my extra time. Hobbies? Well, there's always my silver to be done. And now that I've got my supplies reordered, perhaps that's it. Or painting? With Gamer home, I don't have to worry about little one getting into my paints and water while I'm trying to paint. Cleaning? Hmm, that's just endless and not always as satisfying as it should be. Visiting family and friends? Yes, but that requires a lot of gas, and unfortunately we don't have much of that right now. As it is the less than $30.00 I spent to get my silver is going to put a big dent in our weekly budget. Which we have to get diapers this week as well, and that's always a big dent as well. Thankfully we only have to do that once a month or so. Yard work? Yeah, there's always that, but again the gas problem, and major allergies on top of my cold. Oh and Gamer's broken wrist. Jeeze, my life sounds like a bad country song, LOL.
So, my silver lining is going to be that I now have more time for my art. Which is awesome. I can finally get some more silver done, and try to create some amazing designs. I can get back to my painting and my charcoals. And mayhap even try to get my website up and running again too. Who knows! The sky is the limit if I settle in and put my brain to work. Which I think it needs like you wouldn't believe. So art it is everyone! Ill see if I can't post some of my new work on my Google+ page for you all to see. Assuming I can figure it out. I'm techie, but with how fast everything changes, sometimes I have a hard time keeping up. So give me a bit to figure it out. I'll post a link if I get it up and running.
Anyways, thank you my friends for listening to me ramble and to help me find my silver lining. I needed to write it through. Promise I'll write more tomorrow. Maybe I'll even have good news on the job end of things! We'll see!
