Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!

This little phrase is what I heard this morning when I told Author she could take the rest of the mint chocolate bar to work today. The rest of the conversation went something like this: "Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate. Ponies and chocolate! Chocolate ponies! Like chocolate bunnies, but they are shaped like ponies. You eat them while you ride a pony!" Yeah, she was a little excited. I promise, this is a normal conversation for our little family. Every once in a while when Author is sitting on her bed in the living room we hear a random little something from over there. One of my favorites was "I know you! You are president Ulysses S. Grant and the snowman, and your here because it's Armor Day and there aren't enough zippers to go around." Another was something along the lines of "Yes, because trusting your uncle who just killed your mother is a completely normal and great thing to do...moron." The funny thing about all this is we won't here a peep from her for 3 to 4 hours and then something like this pops out of her mouth, then silence again. We never quite know what is going to come out from behind the screen. Scientist has been joking around about starting a blog called From Behind The Screen. Please understand, Author's bedroom is technically part of the living room, but screened off with some cute room dividers. So when I say these things come out from behind the screen, I mean quite literally, from behind the screen.
Now that's not to say that we don't hear random stuff from all of us around the house. For instance the Seahawks and the Flacons were playing yesterday and Scientist asked "Did the sea birds out football the other team? And did they win in four innings instead of nine?" Mind you it was a total joke as Gamer and Author are huge football fans, but amusing none the less. Ever so often you will hear a "what were you thinking you moron?" from Gamer. Its seemingly random, until we notice that he's playing video games on silent. It makes us all chuckle. I do so love the quirky things I hear. As scientist has often thought of doing, if I took all the random quotes from our house, and put them on a blog, I would have enough to build three blogs a day.
